3 5/16 Very Rare Old Alphabet. Stunning Rare DeLittle Typeface. I sometimes get asked why I clean the wood type but I do it so that buyers can see exactly what the type looks like both good and bad. I discovered this Fabulous Rare DeLittle Alphabet mixed up with a variety of old wood type in a very dusty box from a collection I bought some years ago (I have included a photo of the letters before I cleaned them). So you can imagine how excited I was when I found that I had the complete alphabet, which is unusual, however, the letter’Q’ has had the tail cut off which the printer would have done to make it into an letter’O’, which you can see in the photo. This is a Fantastic Old Wood 3 5/16 Alphabet has a DeLittle Decorative Typeface and the Wonderful Atlantic Sans Condensed Font. All the type appear to be in Excellent. Condition for it’s age, which you can see from the photo and but there will be some small marks from use which you should be able to see in the assorted photos.
