Complete set of letterpress wood type characters. An exceptionnel and very rare blackletter type set. Woodtype #84 We have counted 223 pieces, we hope, that we did not make any mistake on counting, but you will see, what you get on the close-up photos. As you will see on the detailed photos, there are lower case, upper case, numbers, punctuation, diacritics (Umlauts), digraphs, accents – just all!! We have not found even one character missing – we think it is a complete set. Each character measures 54 mm: 2.13 inch and 54 mm: 2.52 inch for those with descenders. We have removed some dust, but did no full cleaning. However, as you can see on the photos, the printing blocks are in an excellent condition, not used very often. The characters were stored up to now in drawers, this is a gorgeous and exceptionnel set of characters. Please be sure, that a carefull packaging will be done for the characters, so nothing will hurt the characters on transport.
