X-Rite i1 Publish Pro 2 Barely Used being re-listed because I found a physical flaw. I took it out to do the diagnostics test (log attached) to be sure it was working properly. It passed all of the tests with no problem. However, the device felt very sticky so I contacted XRite. Their tech guy told me this was a known issue. These units had a coating which broke down over time and got sticky. He said to use denatured alcohol on a cloth to clean it. I was able to remove the stickiness but some of the finish doesn’t look so great. Given more time this could probably be worked on to make it look better. The bottom line is that this is an aesthetic issue and does not affect the use or operation. It is being priced very fairly to acknowledge this issue.
