There are ten each of two point leads in each size as well ten each of six point slugs in each size. That is a range of twenty-four (24) different pica lengths in two different thicknesses. There are a total of 480 pieces and a total of twenty-fire pounds of type metal. All of these leads and slugs were cut on a Hamond Glider letterpress printer’s saw so they have all been cut exactly to size and both ends have a mirror finish. Not the rough looking cut you get on a hand slug cutter. Each size is individually wrapped and identified with correct pica length on wrapper. This is a very good way to maximize your dollar spent for letterpress leads and slugs. Should you already have a letterpress Lead & Slug cabinet all the better to fill it. Should you acquire one later this would give you a head start of filling it up.
