HUGE vintage wooden letterpress mixed font alphabet, pictured, comprising type from various different countries and fonts. No fonts have been hurt by me to make this selection – the characters are all waifs and strays and orphans who have lost their font families. As pictured, the lot measures about 22 x 18 inches; individual letters measure between about 2 1/2 inches and a massive 7 inch letter. The lot may be rearranged and can be used for display or printing. In common with all older type, the characters have their share of dinks, knocks and signs of wear and will benefit from additional cleaning. Please look closely at the picture.
