This a Roland EGX-400 Commercial Grade Engraver. You should not expect these commercial models to break over time like you would with the lower models. They heavy duty and weighs quite a bit. I forget what they call them but they are basically used to hold flat objects in place when engraving. They are coated with a special oil that lets them maintain their stickiness even after rinsing (do not wash mat with soap). Free local pick-up available as well if you happen to be located nearby.
