Large mixed font set of alphabet letters, sourced from the UK, France and Germany. All the characters can be rearranged and used independently. Overall size of set as pictured roughly 13 inches x 16.5 inches. The letters are all large. The smallest is 2 1/3 inches and the largest, the y, is 5 1/3 inches including the descender. The lot consists of mostly flat bed press wooden letters but does include a rare Plakadur Q. The set is in good condition for working type of this age, although in common with all older type has it’s share of dinks, knocks and signs of wear and will probably need additional cleaning. Some of the type was reclaimed from a wall collage and may have the remains of plaster or glue on the back. Please look closely at the picture.
