Here is a full font of a large, upper case, outline, condensed face wood type. My local expert thinks that it was probably manufactured by American Wood Type Co. But Ive been unable to identify it specifically. Its a modified sans serif face: there are a few characters with vestigial serifs, the C, G, J, Q, S and & all having small serifs. The G and Q are also quite distinctive in the font. Please see the photos. Each sort measures 3.35 tall, with the letter occupying nearly all of that, at 3.3. This doesnt come to a neat point size, being a little over 235 points. The sorts are, of course, type high, measured at 0.925, which is a few thousandths high. The font is complete, as you can see from the photos, and includes 121 sorts. The wooden case drawer is not included: The type will fonted and packed carefully, to protect the printing faces.
